I am a passionate software engineer. I wear many hats but the main ones I have are first-generation immigrant, first-generation college graduate, DACAmented Mexican American, and activist for equity and inclusion.
In recent years I have become much more vocal on immigrant rights. Having immigrated to the US at the age of 4 years old I have had my share of challenges and do not wish them upon others. Much like in software, our society has the opportunity to continuously iterate and improve. I believe that we can all put our individual grain of sand on our world’s mountain of change.
